KySES will hold its annual general membership conference and Board elections on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Berea at the Union Church.

The meeting is free and open to all KySES members, subscribers, students, guests and the general public interested in learning more about solar in Kentucky.  We are planning an interactive afternoon with participation from attendees. 

The meeting will include several presentations as well as a bus tour of several solar installations in the Berea area. The meeting will include a presentation from Dr. Thad Druffel (University of Louisville – Conn Center) on the state of solar generation in KY. Other presentations will include a presentation on the Renewables 100 Policy Institute International Conference, presented by Andy McDonald (Sustainable Systems Program Director, Earth Tools). Attendees can also take a bus tour of several Berea solar installations: College Deep Green Dorm and Ecovillage, Berea Solar Farm and FAHE Solar. Finally, we will hold elections for the KySES Board of Directors for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2017.
